As an LA native I have had my fair share of trying new and yummy restaurants. Here is a list of some of my favorites! (in no specific order)

Javier's

Cuisine: Classic Mexican

Best Dish: Carnitas

Price: $$$ Have your parents take you

Favorite thing about the restaurant: The ambience feels like you are at a resort in Cancun. The portions are great for price, I go home with left-overs every time!

Din Tai Fung

Cuisine: Chinese

Best Dish: Pork Dumplings

Price: $$ You can splurge on your own and share with others

Favorite thing about the restaurant: While the wait might be long the food comes so quick!

Villa Moreliana

Cuisine: Mexican Street Food

Best Dish: Carnitas Tacos

Price: $ Cheap!

Favorite thing about the restaurant: located in such a cool area and cannot beat the price. Also while you are waiting in line they give you a free sample taco!

C&O

Cuisine: Italian

Best Dish: Garlic Knots

Price: $$ not too crazy but worth it

Favorite thing about the restaurant: the garlic knots are free!

Best Dish: Grilled Ribeye

Price: $$$$ yeah its a bit much but for special occasions

Favorite thing about the restaurant: the view is amazing! service is amazing! totally worth it for those once in a while occasions!
